Doner Kebab recipe
Here is how to make a doner kebab at home.
- 1 Kg lamb mince
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Mix all the ingredients apart from the lamb in a bowl. Add the lamb mince and thoroughly mix for several minutes until it is smooth.
Shape the spiced lamb into a loaf and form it round the kebab machine skewer and grill until the outside meat is thoroughly cooked. When it is remove thin slices and serve with your favourite bread and accompaniments.
